Dave Atkins Media! launched in January 2009. One of our first clients launched a re-purposed blog, twitter presence, and facebook page in early February. Dave does not claim to be an expert in social media, a guru, or that he can work marketing miracles. Instead, he brings a lifetime of scrappy technological resourcefullness and communication skill to a field characterized by rapid change and unpredictibility.

Background
Dave Atkins is a technology leader, hands-on problems solver, and writer. Since 1995, he has worked in start up companies in Silicon Valley and Boston, taking care of the operational and systems details behind web-based companies, and developing a reputation as a "scrappy," resourceful engineer. Dave has always been the glue between business needs and technology.
- He double-majored at MIT...but in business (Sloan) and political science
- He went to law school...and promptly organized a student newspaper and a presidential campaign
- He worked on Capitol Hill--becoming Editorial Director for a Senate Committee where he was one of the first to automate publishing electronically
- At his first technology job, he began by creating a web survey application, then led the tech team while working with customers to create dashboard analytics solutions.
- At his first Boston company, he led the tech team, then studied for the Massachusetts bar and handled patent and legal issues for the startup company.
